Starting from 2024, visitors to the United Kingdom will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before their journey. This new digital system enhances border security while making travel easier for legitimate visitors.
The UK ETA is similar to the US ESTA and EU ETIAS systems. It's a mandatory requirement for all visitors who don't need a visa for short stays, including tourists, business visitors, and transit passengers.
